In July 2015 we cosponsored 21st International Symposium on the Photochemistry and Photophysics of Coordination Compounds. At the conference, we had a pleasure of presenting “Polyphony of light” – an introduction of our new device: digital polychromator.
The device can simultaneously produce collimated illumination consisting of several of hundreds wavelengths. Each wavelength has separately adjusted intensity in just a fraction of a millisecond. The presentation consisted on translating a sound of a cello into light wavelengths and intensities.
