World painting’s masterpieces that are exposed to light silently scream for help. Fortunately, the number of museums interested in measuring the color fastness of their paintings is growing. Some of the museums decide to buy their own Micro Fading Tester for their conservation workshop. In September, our expert in the artworks conservation, prof. Tomasz Łojewski, was invited to the Munch Museum in Oslo to carry out measurements on the world-famous painting “Scream”. The measurement results allow for better care of the color fastness, so that “Scream” enjoys its perfect form as long as possible.
